On Sunday 15th June the sun shone on us for our private visit to Lepe House Gardens, at the mouth of the Beaulieu River. We were shown around by Emma, the current owner, whose family bought the estate in 1879. It was an interesting afternoon, nicely rounded off with tea and cake.
Lepe House even has its own lighthouse to help boats line up correctly to enter the river.
