We had a good turn out for our first walk of 2024 which was a wander around West Wellow taking in St Margaret’s Church, final resting place of Florence Nightingale, and followed by a tasty light lunch at Headlands Farm Coffee Shop. Thanks go to Patsy for organising and leading us.

Annual EuroClub Quiz 2024
Our 2024 Euroclub Quiz took place on Saturday 13th April in Braishfield near Romsey.
Teams are of 4 people competed to demonstrate how much (little) we knew!! Steve the quiz-master posed the questions and we all enjoyed the challenge!
It was a close run thing, but team Universally Challenged (Chris, Anna, Di & John) were triumphant on the night.
A cheese ploughman’s supper was served during the interval, with tea and coffee. Huge thanks go to Pam for organising the event.

Our 2024 activities are starting with a vengeance.
Thanks go to Nicola for hosting the Fête des Rois on Sunday 7th Jan. There was a good variety of foods with a French theme and Nicola’s home made galette was delicious.
Selina found the “feve” in her portion so was exempt, being King, from helping to clear up afterwards. Others, however, were swift to help.
There are two language gatherings this week plus a committee meeting tonight when the committee shall be discussing the AGM, which is on 10th February.
There will be a Burns’ Night on 27th January.
