Fireworks & supper party

On a mild and dry Saturday in early November club members were superbly hosted by the club President. We were treated to a 45 minute fireworks show presided over safely by  two members. This was followed by an autumn inspired super with members contributing both savoury  mains and sweet desserts to share.

Jigsaw competition with cream tea

Very competitive afternoon with 10 teams focused on completing their matching jigsaw. A very welcome half time break with tea, coffee, and scones with jam & cream … delicious! Once revived the teams were back to the task! The winning team carried off the prize!

Euroclub BBQ August

Great sunny afternoon in the hosts garden. Members bright along salads and desserts to share while the “chefs” manned the bbq cooking the meats / veggie options individuals provided for their own consumption. Excellent time had by all

Jubilee Tea Party

While happily it didn’t rain until after everyone went home it was sadly not the warm sunny afternoon anticipated! Despite a red, white and blue dress theme most of us had to wear coats and wrap up in blankets!
We all gathered in our hosts garden bedecked with red, white & blue bunting & Union Jack flags.
Everyone brought along a dish to share, that were delicious and not much was left to take home; home made Greek salad, sausage rolls, finger sandwiches, cheese pie, coronation chicken Volovants and delicious cakes topped off with a scrumptious trifle.
The Jubilee quiz had everyone talking in their teams , and the winning team won jubilee shortbread , with prizes also for the best home made tiara 👸🏼 , the best crown 🤴🏻 , and the best red, white & blue outfit!
